1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing mr-novels.com or services (“Service”), you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”). Updates posted on the site; continued use accepts changes. Notify users of material changes via email or prominent notice, per IT Rules 2021.

2. Eligibility and Accounts

Must be 18+ or legal age in your jurisdiction. Provide accurate KYC details if requested. Secure your account; report breaches promptly. We comply with IT Rules for grievance redressal (details in Grievance section).

3. Membership and Subscription Plans

Premium access requires paid “Plan” (limited/unlimited reading/listening hours). Auto-renews per billing cycle unless cancelled. Trials/promos disclosed upfront; no hidden fees, per CPA e-commerce rules. Personal, non-transferable license only.

4. Payments and Billing

Transparent pricing + GST/taxes shown before purchase (CPA mandate). Processed via PCI-DSS compliant gateways (e.g., Razorpay). Authorize recurring charges; 3-day cooling-off implied for unsolicited subs (CPA). Price changes with 30-day notice.

5. Cancellation and Refunds

7-Day Cooling-Off Period: Full refund if requested within 7 days of first payment, minus proportional use (e.g., hours accessed), verifiable via logs (CPA Section 13/15 for digital services). Cancel via account dashboard anytime—effective end of current period, no prorated refunds beyond cooling-off. Auto-renew notice sent 7 days prior. Contact support@mr-novels.com. Deficiency in service? Escalate to our Grievance Officer (below); unresolved in 30 days? Approach Consumer Forum.

6. Member-Only Content Protection

DRM-protected premium novels/stories for subscribers only. Prohibited: copy/download/share/sell/sub-license/reverse engineer/circumvent tech measures/AI scraping (IT Act Section 43/66, Copyright Act). Personal use license revocable; violations reported to authorities if criminal.

7. User Conduct and Content Rules

Personal, non-commercial use only. Bans: illegal acts, fake reviews, spam, disruption, hate speech, obscenity, defamation (IT Rules Part II: due diligence for intermediaries). UGC (reviews/comments) screened; takedown within 36 hours of valid complaint (IT Rules Rule 3(4)). No child sexual abuse material/hosting (IT Rules Rule 4(2)). Report violations via form; we cooperate with law enforcement.

8. Intellectual Property

Content owned/licensed by MR Novels. Your access: limited non-exclusive license. Report infringements to us—we act per IT Rules (notice-and-takedown within 36 hours).

9. Liability Limitations

“As is” Service; no warranties beyond CPA implied ones (satisfactory quality for digital goods). Liability capped at fees paid last 12 months. No indirect damages. Indemnify us for your breaches (IT Act safe harbor requires user indemnity).

10. Termination

For violations/non-payment: 24-hour notice + opportunity to respond (fairness under CPA/IT Rules). Immediate for illegal content. Post-termination: delete your data per Privacy Policy.

11. Grievance Redressal (IT Rules 2021 Compliant)

Grievance Officer: Bala/Director, support@mr-novels.com. Acknowledge complaints within 24 hours; resolve in 15 days (max 30). Escalation: Chief Compliance Officer, then appellate under IT Rules.

12. Data Protection and Privacy

Personal data handled per DPDP Act 2023/Privacy Policy. Consent-based collection; opt-out anytime. No data sales.

13. Governing Law and Disputes

Laws of India; jurisdiction: Chennai courts (Tamil Nadu). Consumer disputes: via e-Daakhil/Consumer Forum first (CPA preference). Arbitration optional post-CPA attempt.

14. Miscellaneous

Force majeure applies. Entire agreement. Contact: support@mr-novels.com. Effective March 2026.
