Poornima is one who carries within her the gentle radiance of a calm oil lamp. An oil lamp does not discriminate—it spreads light everywhere, without considering status, be it a grand mansion or a poor man’s hut. Likewise, Poornima shares her love with everyone. அகல் விளக்கு

அமைதி ததும்பும் அகல்விளக்கின் சுடரொளியைத் தன்னுள் கொண்டவள் பூர்ணிமா.. அகல்விளக்கு தரம் பிரிச்சுப் பார்க்காது.. மாட மாளிகை, கூட கோபுரம்ன்னு உயரத்தை நினைக்காமல் ஏழையின் குடிசையிலும் வெளிச்சத்தைப் பரப்பும். அது போல பூர்ணிமாவும் அனைவருக்கும் அன்பை அளிப்பவள். அனைவருக்கும் ரௌடியாக வலம் வந்த ரகுவரன் பூர்ணிமாவிற்கு மட்டும் அன்பானவனாக தெரிந்தாள்.
