Melisayai Oru Kadhal

As he came to the doorstep enjoying the early morning breeze, the girl from the opposite house, Vandhana, shot him a warm, sharp glare. She had come out to sprinkle water and draw a kolam at her entrance. And he, Vivekanandan, had come just to admire that beauty.

Was it really him who desired her? Or was it she who wanted to pull him into a playful quarrel?

A wave of compassion rose within Vivekanandan, as if he felt compelled to fulfill the wishes of the maiden from the house across.

அதிகாலைக் காற்றை ரசித்தபடி வாசலுக்கு வந்தவனை உஷ்ணமாக முறைத்தாள் எதிர்வீட்டு வந்தனா. அவள் வாசல் தெளித்துக் கோலம் போட வந்திருக்கிறாளாம். அந்த அழகை பார்த்து ரசிக்கத்தான் விவேகானந்தன் வந்திருக்கிறானாம். அவனா ஆசைப்படுகிறான்? அவளை 

அவன் வம்புக்கு  இழுக்க வேண்டுமென்று அவள்தானே ஆசைப்படுகிறாள். எதிர் வீட்டுக் கன்னிகையின் ஆசையை நிறைவேற்ற வேண்டும் என்ற கருணைகடல் பொங்கி கொண்டது விவேகானந்தனுக்கு.
